Glee Theory jewellery, crafted from S925 silver and titanium steel, is made for everyday wear—even in the shower! Here’s how to keep your pieces looking their best:
Glee Theory 的饰品主要是S925 纯银/钛钢的材质，专为日常佩戴而设计——甚至可以在洗澡时佩戴！以下是保持饰品最佳状态的一些保养技巧：
1. Water-Resistant, but Avoid Prolonged Exposure 防水，但避免长时间接触水
• Our jewellery is safe for showering, so you don’t have to remove it. However, to delay oxidation and maintain shine, it’s best to limit prolonged exposure. If you wear it in the shower, simply dry it thoroughly afterward and avoid shampoos or soaps to keep it in top shape.
• 我们的饰品可以在洗澡时佩戴，无需特意取下。但为了延缓氧化和保持光泽，最好避免长时间接触水。如果佩戴着洗澡，洗澡后请彻底擦干，避免与洗发水或肥皂接触，以保持饰品的最佳状态。
2. Minimise Contact with Chemicals 尽量避免接触化学品
• Avoid direct contact with perfumes, body lotions, and sprays etc. These can dull the finish over time.
• 避免与香水、护肤乳液和喷雾等等直接接触，这些化学品会导致饰品表面光泽减退。
3. Remove During High-Intensity Activities 高强度活动时请取下
• For longevity, remove your jewellery during workouts or intense activities. Sweat and impact can affect the appearance and durability of the pieces.
• 为延长饰品的寿命，建议在运动或剧烈活动时取下饰品。汗水和碰撞可能会影响饰品的外观和耐久性。
4. Take Off Before Bed 睡前取下饰品
• Sleeping with jewellery can lead to tangling or stress on the pieces. It’s best to remove it before bed to avoid bending or scratches.
• 睡觉时佩戴饰品可能会导致缠绕或施加不必要的压力，建议在睡前取下，以避免弯曲或划痕。
5. Cleaning and Maintenance 清洁与维护
• After wearing, gently clean your jewellery with the included alcohol pad or silver polishing cloth to remove oils and keep it shining. Wipe down with the cloth to preserve the finish and remove any residue.
• 每次佩戴后，用随附的酒精擦或银抛光布轻轻清洁饰品，以去除油脂并保持光泽。用抛光布擦拭，防止残留物积累，保持饰品表面完好。
6. Store Properly 妥善存放
• When not in use, store your pieces in a jewellery box or pouch to reduce air exposure and prevent scratches.

How to Restore S925 Silver and Titanium Steel Jewellery
如何还原氧化的 S925 银饰与钛钢饰品
For S925 Silver Jewellery 使用锡纸和苏打粉还原 S925 银饰
（不包括有珍珠，人造水晶，锆石等等非S925纯银的物品喔；那些物品建议用擦银布抹抹就好🤍）
(This restoration method doesn't apply to synthetic pearls, synthetic crystals, zircon, etc. (non S925 Silver items). For them, just a quick wipe with a silver polishing cloth will do!)
1. Prepare the Materials 准备材料
• A bowl (ceramic or glass preferred)
• Aluminum foil (enough to line the bottom of the bowl)
• Baking soda (Sodium Bicarbonate)
• Hot water (around 60–80°C)
• A soft cloth or silver polishing cloth
• 一个陶瓷或玻璃碗
• 一张铝箔纸（足够覆盖碗底）
• 小苏打（Sodium Bicarbonate）
• 热水（约 60–80°C，非沸水）
• 一块软布或擦银布
2. Line the Bowl with Aluminum Foil 铺上铝箔纸
Place the aluminum foil shiny side up at the bottom of the bowl. This creates the reaction needed to remove tarnish.
将铝箔纸亮面朝上铺在碗底，帮助后续的化学反应清除氧化物。
3. Place the Silver Jewellery 放上银饰
Lay your silver jewellery flat on the foil, making sure each piece touches the foil.
将银饰平铺在铝箔纸上，确保每一件都能接触到铝箔纸。
4. Sprinkle Baking Soda 撒上小苏打
Sprinkle 1–2 tablespoons of baking soda evenly over the jewellery.
在银饰上均匀撒上 1–2 汤匙 小苏打粉。
5. Pour in Hot Water 倒入热水
Carefully pour enough hot water to fully submerge the jewellery. A slight fizz may occur—this means it’s working!
慢慢倒入热水，完全盖过银饰。过程中可能会起泡，这是正常反应。
6. Let it Sit 等待反应
Let everything sit for 3–5 minutes. You’ll notice the tarnish fading.
静置 3–5 分钟，你会看到银饰的黑垢开始褪去。
7. Rinse and Dry 冲洗并擦干
Take out the jewellery, rinse thoroughly with clean water, and dry immediately with a soft cloth.
取出银饰，用清水彻底冲洗干净，并立刻用软布擦干。
8. Optional: Polish with Silver Cloth（可选）使用擦银布
For extra shine and anti-tarnish protection, gently polish your pieces with a silver cloth after drying.
若想增加亮度与防氧化效果，建议最后用擦银布轻轻擦拭。
Tips 使用贴士
- Do not use this method on jewellery with pearls, opals, gemstones, enamel, or colored plating.
- Store silver in a sealed bag.
- Repeat this method only when tarnish appears—don’t overdo it.
- 不适用于含珍珠、宝石、珐琅或电镀上色的饰品。
- 建议将银饰密封保存。
- 仅在出现氧化时使用此方法，避免过度清洁。
Extra Tip: What if My Silver Jewellery Has Zircons, Pearls, or Gemstones?
额外提示：银饰上有锆石、珍珠或宝石怎么办？
If your jewellery includes delicate materials like zircons, pearls, natural gemstones, enamel, or plating, do not soak them directly in hot water or baking soda solution.
若您的银饰上有锆石、珍珠、天然宝石、珐琅或电镀层，请不要直接浸泡在热水或小苏打中。
To protect those parts:
- Wrap them tightly with cling film, waterproof tape, or even cut-up latex gloves
- Only leave the bare silver parts exposed
- Proceed with the cleaning as usual, but limit soaking time to 1–3 minutes

For Titanium Steel Jewellery 钛钢饰品的清洁方法
1. Simple Soap and Water Wash 温和的肥皂水清洗
• Titanium steel is highly resistant to oxidation but may accumulate residue over time. Use a mild dish soap mixed with warm water. Soak the jewelry briefly, then scrub gently with a soft brush or cloth.
• 钛钢不易氧化，但可能会随着时间积累污渍。将几滴温和的洗洁精与温水混合。将饰品浸泡片刻，然后用软刷或布轻轻擦拭。
2. Rinse and Dry 冲洗并擦干
• Rinse thoroughly with water, then dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.

3. Polish if Needed 抛光（如需）
• Use a polishing cloth (like the one included with Glee Theory jewellery) to give titanium steel pieces a quick refresh. This will help remove fingerprints and keep the surface looking polished.
• 使用抛光布（如 Glee Theory 提供的抛光布）来让钛钢饰品焕然一新，去除指纹并保持表面光亮。
Using the aluminum foil and baking soda method makes it easy to remove tarnish from S925 silver without much scrubbing. Just remember not to use this method on jewellery with stones or delicate finishes, as it may damage them.
使用锡纸和小苏打的方式可以轻松去除 S925 银饰的氧化层，几乎不需要用力擦拭。注意不要将带有宝石或精致饰面的饰品放入此溶液中，以免造成损坏。
